The First Cannabis Adult Expo is Coming to California

Natalie Villaseñor has made a name for herself running the Crazy San Diego brand, under which she has hosted highly successful cannabis events such as INKnDABZ all over San Diego County. As that brand has grown, she’s found the opportunity to take it on tour outside her hometown. Now, she’s starting a new event , called StripnDabz , which will see its inaugural edition take place March 3 at a private location. THCist sat down with Ms. Villaseñor  to learn about the event and hosting cannabis events in San Diego.

Cannabis Lab: Up to 80% of Cannabis Industry May Rely on Pesticides

“This is a first in agriculture,” SC Laboratories Research and Development chemist Josh  Wurzer says. “Almost as much as 80% of the [cannabis] industry relies on pesticides for mites, fungicides, molds and mildews for cannabis products. All these cannabis producers are going to learn that regulation could mean cannabis is the only crop disallowed from using pesticides.” It’s an assertion with which not everyone agrees.

Sacramento City Council Introduces $1,000 Reward for Marijuana Snitches

While Sacramento City Council member Jay Schenirer went over the state of cannabis in Sacramento at the most recent City Council meeting in the state’s capital, November 22, a little discussed incentive crept into conversation. 

The city, concerned with ensuring illegal operators are weeded out, wants to incentivize people to snitch.
