Cannabis Lab: Up to 80% of Cannabis Industry May Rely on Pesticides

“This is a first in agriculture,” SC Laboratories Research and Development chemist Josh  Wurzer says. “Almost as much as 80% of the [cannabis] industry relies on pesticides for mites, fungicides, molds and mildews for cannabis products. All these cannabis producers are going to learn that regulation could mean cannabis is the only crop disallowed from using pesticides.” It’s an assertion with which not everyone agrees.

Teen ‘chopped off school mate’s head and arms’ after pair smoked marijuana together

Mathew Borges, 15, has been charged as an adult for murdering his friend Lee Manuel Viloria-Paulino, 16, after the two smoked marijuana together.

Lee’s decapitated body was found Thursday by authorities. The corpses forearms were cut off and submerged in a local river.

Standing Rock Tribe Succesfully Halts Dakota Access Pipeline


Eric Fanning, Assistant Secretary of the Army, has told tribal leaders that the Army Corps of Engineers will stop construction on the controversial Dakota Access pipeline, according to the chairman of the standing Rock Sioux tribe on Sunday.

The Army denied the permit to bore Lake Oahe, according to Dave Archambault II. Thus, the reservoir behind the Missouri River in North Dakota will be spared…for now.
